EM Services Pte Ltd Hiring! Full Time QS Manager in - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop the Quantity Surveying team.
• Allocate resources and manage workload across multiple projects.
• Review and approve cost estimates, payment certifications, Variation Orders, and Final Accounts prepared by QS.
• Provide technical guidance on contractual and cost management matters.
• Ensure consistency and compliance with company procedures, procurement policies, and applicable Conditions of Contract.
• Monitor project budgets, cost performance, and financial exposure across all assigned projects.
• Review significant contractual claims, Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, disputes, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Support senior management in business planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, standardisation of QS processes, and adoption of best practices.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of QS services across all projects.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Participate in recruitment, performance appraisal, coaching, and professional development of QS staff.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with corporate governance, financial controls, and internal audit requirements.
  
  

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Science, Project Management or Equivalent.
  
  

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant QS experience in construction, maintenance, A&A, or estate upgrading projects.
• Experience in public sector or town council projects will be an advantage.
  
  

Competencies

• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Membership with SISV or other relevant professional bodies will be an advantage.
