Key responsibilities

• Perform sampling and testing of starting materials, packaging materials, in-process products, finished products, and environmental monitoring in accordance with inspection plans and specification requirements.

• Perform microbiological testing, including microbial limit tests, sterility tests, and identification of microorganisms.

• Handle and maintain microbial cultures, including sub-culturing, preservation, and confirmation of reference strains (e.g., ATCC, CMCC, NCIMB).

• Prepare culture media and perform growth promotion tests, sterility checks, and media quality control.

• Perform environmental monitoring and compressed air monitoring in cleanrooms and controlled areas.

• Complete equipment calibration and maintenance tasks for microbiology equipment (e.g., autoclave, incubators, biological safety cabinets, etc.).

• Conduct testing of pharmaceutical preparations (including solid dosage forms, solutions, etc.) to ensure their continued availability and proper storage.

• Prepare documentation in compliance with cGMP requirements.

• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Higher Diploma or Degree holder in Microbiology / Biology / Biotechnology or other related science disciplines.

• Familiar with GMP, GLP, GDP, and laboratory safety regulations.

• Prior hands-on laboratory experience in microbiology is preferred.

• Experience in microbial culture handling, identification, and strain maintenance is preferred.

• Experience with microbial limit test, sterility test, and environmental monitoring is preferred.

• Good command of written and spoken Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
