Responsibilities
A section/station chef responsible for a specific area of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food within the assigned station.
Ensure mise en place is completed before service.
Maintain quality, consistency, and portion control.
Monitor stock levels and inform Sous Chef of replenishment needs.
Ensure cleanliness and food safety compliance in the assigned section.
Minimise food wastage and control costs.
Support menu execution during service periods.
Typical Requirements
Minimum 2 years of culinary experience.
Strong technical cooking skills in a specialised area.
Ability to work independently during service.
