Job Description

Responsibilities

The Position

The Sales Support Executive is responsible for providing comprehensive sales operations, commercial administration, reporting, and internal coordination support to ensure smooth, efficient, and well-controlled sales processes. The position plays a key role in supporting the Sales Team through effective contract management, payout validation, sales data management, reporting, system enhancement, and cross-functional coordination.

The role works closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure sales activities are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies and controls. It also supports process improvements, system implementation, and operational enhancements that drive business growth, sales effectiveness, and healthy Gross Profit (GP) performance.

The following is a detailed, but not exhaustive, listing of the hands-on tasks you will undertake in the role:

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive sales operations and internal support to ensure smooth and efficient sales processes.

Manage contract control, approval processes, and payout validation, ensuring compliance and maintain healthy Gross Profit (GP) performance.

Support sales process and system improvement initiatives, including implementation, enhancement, and adoption of business systems.

Maintain accurate sales data and records to ensure data integrity and effective sales operations.

Provide timely and accurate sales reports, analysis, and business insights to support management decision-making and sales performance monitoring.

Act as a key internal coordination point between Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, and other stakeholders on sales-related matters.

Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and better sales controls.

Provide essential operational and administrative support to the sales team to facilitate effective business execution.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management, Sales, Operations, or equivalent.

Experience: At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in sales support, sales operations, business operations, commercial administration, reporting, or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge and Hard Skills:
o Strong interest in sales operations, business processes, commercial administration, and data management.

o Good understanding of sales processes, preferably within a commercial, distribution, retail, or related business environment.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends, discrepancies, and business opportunities

o Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in handling contracts, sales data, reports, and commercial information

o Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

o Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, and other internal stakeholders.

o Strong coordination and follow-up skills, with the ability to drive tasks through to completion.

o Proactive, responsible, and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.

o Able to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

o Able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a cross-functional team.

o Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to handle changing priorities with tact and professionalism.

o Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and presentation of information.

o Experience with CRM, ERP, sales management, or other business systems is an advantage.

o Knowledge of sales processes, contract management, commercial controls, payout validation, and Gross Profit (GP) management is preferred

o Required language(s): English. Additional languages are an advantage depending on business requirements.
