We are seeking for an immediate joiner and an experienced Cloud (Azure) Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise-grade OCR (Optical Character Recognition) platforms on Microsoft Azure. The role is responsible for ensuring OCR solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, operational controls, scalability, and governance frameworks while delivering reliable document digitization capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise OCR Solution Design & Architecture

• Design and implement enterprise OCR aligned with enterprise architecture principles and technology standards.
• Define scalable, secure, and reusable OCR service patterns that can support multiple business domains and document types.
• Establish OCR solution design standards, best practices, and governance frameworks across the organization.
• Ensure all OCR platforms comply with enterprise security, data governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.

Azure Platform Engineering

• Architect, deploy, and maintain Azure-based OCR platforms using:
• Azure AI Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer)
• Azure Cognitive Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Storage Accounts
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure App Services
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure Monitor and Log Analytics

Enterprise Integration & Automation

• Integrate OCR platforms with enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, SAP, SharePoint, and business workflow systems.
• Develop and manage APIs, event-driven integrations, and automated document processing pipelines.
• Establish data quality controls, validation frameworks, and exception management processes.
• Ensure seamless integration with enterprise identity, access management, and security platforms.

Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure OCR solutions comply with enterprise security policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection requirements.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, secret management, and audit logging.
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments for OCR initiatives.
• Support compliance requirements including internal audit, operational risk, and data governance controls.

Operations & Platform Support

• Manage production OCR environments and platform availability.
• Monitor solution performance, accuracy, throughput, and operational health.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and drive root cause analysis.
• Establish operational runbooks, support procedures, SLA monitoring, and disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• 5+ years’ experience in Azure Cloud Engineering or Solution Engineering.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise OCR or Intelligent Document Processing solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Azure AI Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer)
• Azure Cognitive Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Storage
• Azure Key Vault
• Azure DevOps
• REST APIs
• Experience building enterprise-scale, secure, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or .NET technologies.
