We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Project Executive (Facilities Management) to independently manage the facilities operations of our retail stores. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, managing vendors and contractors, coordinating store opening and closure projects, monitoring facilities budgets, and ensuring all stores operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the day-to-day facilities operations across all retail stores.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee store opening, renovation, relocation, and closure projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with company standards.
• Manage maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance works to ensure stores remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Source, negotiate, and manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring quality work is delivered within budget and agreed timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance requirements and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and monitor monthly facilities reports, operating expenses, maintenance costs, and project updates.
• Partner with the Finance team to prepare and monitor facilities operating and capital expenditure budgets.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining operational efficiency and service quality.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Retail Manager/Store Managers, shopping mall management, landlords, contractors, and other external stakeholders.
• Coordinate and respond to facilities-related emergencies, including after-hours support during urgent maintenance, store openings, renovations, or night works.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, statutory, and landlord requirements for all facilities-related activities.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

• Diploma and/OR Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Interior Design, Retail Management, or a similar field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience preferably in warehouse/ business office/ real estate environment; with construction project management, space planning and facilities management experience
• Hands-on experience managing retail fit-out and fitting projects with a history of delivering great results.
• A solid grasp of retail design, fit-out processes, and fitting operations.
• Stellar organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects with ease.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
• Added advantage for candidates with exposure to AutoCAD software.
• Ability to travel to project sites and a bit of flexibility in your hours to meet deadlines.
