Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine electro-mechanical technical functions and activities including design, testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, specialized test equipment, tools, and test fixtures.

• Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level issues in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.

• Support new system installations, NPI installations, and field upgrades where required.

• Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, layouts, and plans to perform routine testing and troubleshooting activities.

• Compile logbooks and test procedure documentation utilizing strong technical writing skills.

• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing on AMAT platforms in accordance with Engineering and Manufacturing documentation and specifications.

• Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment.

• Attend required health and safety training and comply with safety and security policies, procedures, and practices.

• Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, and emergencies to Supervisors or the Safety Department.

• Follow operating instructions, utilize appropriate protective equipment, and ensure proper handling of equipment and materials.

• Actively contribute to accident and injury prevention initiatives.

• Develop familiarity with current manufacturing and engineering processes.

• Perform rework activities resulting from testing outcomes where required.

• Generate and manage Quality Notifications in support of quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the Semiconductor industry.

• Hands-on experience in cleanroom environments, equipment assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing operations.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
