Description

The Job
- Liaise with the Solutions team to understand system designs and technical requirements
- Install, configure and maintain network devices, servers and backend systems at project sites
- Troubleshoot technical issues involving servers, routers, switches, networks and IoT devices
- Work with internal technical teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve system implementation issues
- Prepare system diagrams, method statements and other technical documentation for project implementation
- Ensure system designs and installations comply with contractual and technical requirements
- Prepare test plans and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on backend systems,
- Support Project Managers and Engineers in the implementation and delivery of systems
- Ensure all work activities comply with company safe work procedures
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum Degree in Computer Engineering or related discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Hands-on experience in server/client configuration, network storage and IT networking
- Strong troubleshooting knowledge of servers, routers, switches and IoT devices
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, VMware/virtualisation, networking, firewalls and cybersecurity
