Key Responsibilities

Coordinate REL routes, drivers and crew to ensure adequate manpower and smooth daily operations.
Adjust and reassign manpower at all times to manage leave, route changes, shortages, emergencies and unexpected operational issues.
Conduct vehicle spot checks and fleet inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, maintenance and regulatory compliance.
Conduct monthly/pre-shift toolbox meetings and safety briefings for drivers and crew.
Handle complaints and operational issues involving drivers, crew, customers, clients, government agencies and other relevant parties. Follow up until resolution.
Investigate vehicle breakdowns, accidents and operational incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
Provide temporary coverage for the Controller role when required, including scheduling and manpower coordination.
Maintain fleet and equipment records, inspection schedules and maintenance status.
Prepare and submit monthly waste reports and other operational reports as required.
Liaise with NEA and other government agencies on operational, inspection, compliance and reporting matters.
Prepare and submit required vehicle/equipment inspection reports through the NEA portal.
Monitor daily operations and respond promptly to manpower, vehicle, emergency and other operational issues to minimise service disruption.
Ensure proper handover and communication of operational matters.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Experience in fleet, transport, waste management, logistics or related operations is an advantage.
Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
Basic computer and administrative skills.
Valid Class 4 Singapore driving licence is an advantage.
Able to respond to urgent operational requirements when necessary.
