About the role

Join our growing team as a Mechanical Design Engineer and gain hands-on exposure to mechanical engineering design, technical calculations, tender preparation and project coordination across construction projects in a main contractor environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering design, calculations and technical analysis.

• Prepare design drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design tools.

• Prepare technical submissions, reports and design documentation.

• Support tendering, costing, BOM, quotations and project budgeting.

• Assist in mechanical equipment selection and system sizing.

• Coordinate with project/site teams, suppliers and subcontractors.

• Monitor project costs, progress and design deliverables.

About you

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Proficient in AutoCAD; BIM knowledge is an added advantage.

• Good understanding of mechanical engineering design and calculations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and coordination skills.

• Detail-oriented, eager to learn and able to meet project deadlines.

• Relevant construction experience will be an added advantage.
