The Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of F&B equipment, HVAC systems, and electrical installations across outlets/stores. The role involves coordinating daily maintenance activities, managing contractors and vendors, ensuring timely resolution of reported issues, and maintaining proper documentation and cost control. The position requires strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Maintenance, Diagnosing & Troubleshooting
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of F&B equipment, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Ensure chillers, freezers, cold rooms, air-conditioning systems, and kitchen equipment are operating optimally.
2. Daily Operations & Coordination
- Monitor and follow up on maintenance tickets logged by stores/outlets.
- Coordinate closely with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion of repair work.
- Track progress of reported issues and ensure closure within agreed timelines.
3. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Liaise with external service providers for repair, service, and project work.
- Supervise contractor work to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with requirements.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service standards are met.
4. Documentation & Administration
- Prepare and maintain maintenance records, reports, and service logs.
- Request and compare quotations, process approvals, and follow up on purchase orders and invoices.
- Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
5. Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain effective communication with operations team, outlets, vendors, and contractors.
- Provide updates on maintenance status, delays, and resolutions.
- Build strong working relationships to ensure smooth operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Facility Management or any related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management.
- Experience in F&B, retail, or multi-outlet environment is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of documentation, quotation processes, and invoice handling.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, maintenance systems).
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
