About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Executive to join our team on a contract basis. This is an on-site role responsible for managing and executing day-to-day HR operations while supporting the Company's people and business objectives.
The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle, with exposure to HR operations, payroll, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, training and HR compliance.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who is able to work independently, partner effectively with stakeholders and take ownership of HR processes in a fast-paced working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfer, promotion and offboarding processes.
- Manage and oversee monthly payroll processing, including verification of payroll inputs, attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions and statutory contributions.
- Support employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary cases, counselling and performance-related issues.
- Manage performance management and employee appraisal processes.
- Manage compensation & benefits and employee welfare matters.
- Plan and execute training and development activities, including HRD Corp-related matters where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian employment legislation and statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
- Prepare HR reports, analytics and relevant management information.
- Develop and improve HR policies, procedures and HR processes.
- Provide HR advice and support to employees and line managers.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing and organisational development initiatives.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Undertake other HR-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with exposure to full-spectrum HR.
- Strong hands-on experience in HR operations, payroll and employee relations.
- Good understanding of Malaysian employment practices and statutory requirements.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Mature, proactive, detail-oriented and committed to delivering quality HR support.
