Job Description

Responsibilities

We are supporting a leading multinational organisation to recruit for a HR Business Partner to be based in Kuala Lumpur.


This is a regional role with exposure across Asia, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into effective people strategies. The position will have a strong focus on organisational effectiveness, talent management, leadership capability and performance.


Key responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to senior leaders across multiple functions and markets.
  • Provide guidance on workforce planning, organisation structure, organisational effectiveness and business transformation.
  • Lead key talent management activities, including talent reviews, succession planning and identification of high-potential talent.
  • Strengthen talent pipelines and support internal career mobility for critical positions.
  • Develop and implement initiatives focused on leadership capability, talent development and employee retention.
  • Partner with leaders to enhance performance management and establish a strong performance-driven culture.
  • Analyse employee engagement, talent and workforce data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Translate people insights and analytics into practical recommendations that support business decisions.
  • Support organisational change initiatives and ensure effective people implementation across the business.


What we are looking for

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or a related discipline.
  • Over 8 years of relevant HR experience, with strong exposure to HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Organisation Development, Performance Management and/or Change.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to connect people initiatives with commercial objectives.
  • Proven experience in talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development and organisational effectiveness.
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage senior leaders.
  • Experience working across different markets or within a regional environment will be an advantage.
