We're Hiring: 2D Designer/Graphic Designer (Immediate Vacancy)

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and hands-on 2D Designer to join our event management team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design and, preferably, experience in event setup, event branding, exhibition, corporate events, roadshows, launches, and other physical event environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative 2D artwork, event branding, and visual concepts for corporate events, exhibitions, roadshows, product launches, conferences, and other event projects.
• Design event collaterals such as backdrops, stage visuals, signages, banners, posters, LED screen content, booth graphics, directional signage, and promotional materials.
• Create artwork based on event concepts, themes, client requirements, and overall event branding guidelines.
• Work closely with the Creative, Event, Production, and Project Teams to ensure designs are practical and suitable for actual event setup.
• Prepare print-ready artwork and production files according to required specifications, dimensions, materials, and printing methods.
• Develop motion graphics and animated visuals for LED screens, presentations, social media, and event displays.
• Make design adaptations and revisions based on client and management feedback.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of branding across all event materials and touchpoints.
• Stay updated with current design trends, AI design tools, creative techniques, and event industry trends.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Creative Design, or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of working experience in graphic design, event design, exhibition, advertising, or event management.
• Strong preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in event setup, event branding, exhibition booths, stage design, roadshows, corporate events, or similar physical event environments.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Good understanding of motion graphics, animation, and video editing.
• Able to use AI prompting and AI-powered design tools to develop creative concepts and improve design workflow.
• Good understanding of printing, production artwork, materials, finishing, fabrication, and packaging.
• Able to prepare accurate print-ready artwork and understand dimensions, bleed, resolution, colour modes, and file specifications.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, composition, branding, and visual communication.
• Able to interpret creative concepts and translate them into practical designs for real-world event installations.
• Basic sketching and illustration skills will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the event and production teams.
• Creative, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Willing to work extended hours, weekends, and public holidays when required for event setup and execution.
• Willing to travel for events and site work when required.
• Ability to read and write Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
• Creative, proactive, and solution-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Experience in event, exhibition, interior, or retail design is an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
