About the role

We're looking for a Sales Manager to open and grow the Malaysian water utilities market for a company that provides one-stop solutions in pipes, fittings, valves, and water meters. You'll be the face of the business to water authorities, water associations, and municipal buyers, building the relationships and market presence that turn a strong product line into a strong local pipeline.

This is a market-building role: you'll spend real time in the field, at industry exhibitions, and in conversations with public-sector water bodies, not just managing an existing book of accounts.

What you'll do

• Develop and grow the company's customer base within Malaysia's local water utilities market
• Build and maintain relationships with water authorities and water associations, including regular direct engagement
• Represent the company at industry exhibitions and trade events
• Support the company's positioning as a one-stop provider for water-sector infrastructure products

Must-have

• Comfortable engaging directly with government bodies and industry associations (water authorities, water associations) and representing the company publicly at trade shows and exhibitions
• Willing and able to travel within Malaysia for client visits and industry events
• Working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English

Nice-to-have

• 3+ years of experience in the water utilities sector, or comparable industrial/infrastructure B2B sales experience , candidates without this are still encouraged to apply, including recent graduates
• Familiarity with valves, water meters, ductile iron pipes, or similar industrial product categories
• Existing relationships with water authorities, water associations, or municipal procurement bodies in Malaysia

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
