Job Summary

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall operation and performance of the factory. The GM ensures production targets, quality standards, delivery schedules, safety requirements, and financial goals are achieved while leading and developing the factory team.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Oversee plastic injection molding and assembly production activities.

• Ensure production targets and customer delivery schedules are met.

• Improve productivity, efficiency, and machine utilization.

• Monitor production performance and resolve operational issues.

Quality Management

• Ensure products meet customer and quality requirements.

• Reduce defects, scrap, and customer complaints.

• Maintain compliance with ISO and other quality standards.

Financial Management

• Manage factory budgets and operating costs.

• Drive cost reduction and profitability improvement initiatives.

• Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions when needed.

People Leadership

• Lead and develop department managers and employees.

• Build a positive, high-performance work culture.

• Ensure proper staffing, training, and employee development.

Supply Chain Management

• Oversee purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and logistics functions.

• Ensure material availability for production.

• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and customers.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

• Comply with legal, environmental, and company regulations.

• Promote workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Customer Management

• Maintain strong relationships with key customers.

• Support customer audits and business reviews.

• Ensure customer satisfaction in quality, cost, and delivery.

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a management role.

• Experience in plastic injection molding and assembly manufacturing.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, and ERP systems.
