Work Hours
: Wed - Sun (Weekday 11am - 9pm, Weekend 9am - 6pm)
Our client is a leading math enrichment centre. Join their team and inspire young learners to build strong numeracy, focus, and confidence through abacus and mental arithmetic! If you love teaching and enjoy working with children, this is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do
Teach abacus and mental arithmetic lessons following our structured syllabus and teaching methods.
Assign, review, and mark students’ homework while motivating them to complete their tasks.
Communicate with parents regularly on students’ progress, learning needs, and any centre updates or schedule changes.
Update student progress reports to ensure they are meeting key learning milestones.
Support preparation for competitions, assessments, and internal centre events.
Handle basic administrative tasks such as attendance-taking, lesson recordings, and uploading of online class materials.
Requirements
Experience with teaching children.
Knowledge/ Experience in Abacus.
Strong command of English (spoken and written).
Basic computer skills: Zoom, MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Good foundation in Mathematics.
Patient, passionate about teaching, and enjoys working with children.
Training will be provided - candidates with no experience are welcome to apply.
