About PRECISE
PRECISE leads the whole-of-government implementation of Singapore’s National Precision Medicine (NPM) strategy. As part of this initiative, PRECISE has partnered with the SG100K study, Southeast Asia’s most comprehensive population health study of 100,000 consented participants, to build the PRECISE-SG100K resource, which combines behavioural, phenotypic and multi-omic data to support collaborative research into Asian biology and health.
As Assistant Manager / Manager in the Central Entity, you will support PRECISE Director of Corporate Services in overseeing, planning and management of PRECISE budget. You will also liaise with funders and other stakeholders to carry out various activities.
Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally across teams and research partners to distil key (technical) information, craft positioning and draft reports and updates to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with Director Corporate Services in grant/budget management matters
- Coordinate activities across PRECISE and research partners, tracking performance measures for key initiatives and manage periodic reports to PRECISE management and stakeholders
- Perform other admin/operations related duties as assigned, e.g. taking on secretariat role for key meetings
Requirements:
- Minimum Bsc in health & biological sciences or related discipline and preferably at least 3 - 5 years of experience in the R&D and/or Healthcare sector
- Strong competencies in programme management, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and resources in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinker, ability to multi-task, proven problem-solving skills and resourceful
- Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment; and able to work independently, and collaboratively in teams
- Outstanding oral, written communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas succinctly
