Senior Electrical Engineer (Mandarin Proficiency Required)

• Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor
• Salary: Up to RM 12,000 (Basic)

The Company:

A renowned engineering consultancy firm with extensive experience in delivering electrical and mechanical engineering solutions across a wide range of projects. Their portfolio includes high-rise residential and commercial developments, industrial, healthcare facilities, power generation plants, infrastructure and civil works and large township projects,

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical services work throughout the full construction project lifecycle, including design development, tendering, site execution, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Coordinate submissions, approvals, and compliance matters with relevant authorities such as TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), and others
• Prepare and coordinate Coordinated Services Drawings (CSD) and penetration drawings in collaboration with the BIM team.
• Monitor site progress and provide technical support to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with approved designs, project specifications, industry standards, and authority requirements.
• Review and approve subcontractor submissions, including shop drawings, material proposals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical and construction-related issues.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess a recognized Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience
• Prior work experience in an engineering consulting firm will be advantageous
• Mandarin language proficiency is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
