Job Summary

As an Accounts Executive, you will independently manage full set accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and timely payroll processing to support business operations and financial integrity.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage full set accounts to ensure accurate and compliant financial records
• Maintain the General Ledger (GL) and prepare journal entries to support accurate financial reporting
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies for accurate cash balances
• Prepare and submit GST returns to comply with tax regulations and deadlines
• Assist with month-end closing activities to support timely financial statements
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation for audit readiness and compliance
• Liaise with external service providers to facilitate financial and administrative processes
• Support finance and administrative matters as assigned to contribute to overall operational efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant in-house accounting experience
• Proven hands-on experience in handling full set accounts independently
• Experience in AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, payroll, and GST processing
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with Xero accounting software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Preferably proficient in English and Mandarin
