Position : QA Specialist

Salary : RM 3,000 – RM 4,500

Location : Imazium, Uptown Damansara

Working Hours : Monday - Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm)

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting the quality assurance process and ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse system specifications.
• Execute predefined test cases and test scripts to identify and report defects in software applications.
• Document and track defects using issue tracking systems, ensuring that all relevant information is provided for effective resolution.
• Assist in creating and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and test data to support the QA process and provide clear documentation of testing activities.
• Help set up and configure test environments, ensuring they are ready for testing activities and closely resemble the production environment.
• Prepare test data needed for various test scenarios to simulate real-world usage and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Analyze test results and assist senior QA engineers in identifying patterns, trends, and potential areas for improvement.
• Continuously learn and develop skills in software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices through training and self-study.
• Advocate for the resolution of critical defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely bug fixes.

Job Requirements:

• Possess academic qualifications & professional certifications in QA and Testing
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role, with at least 1 year hand-on experience
• Experience in project management and QA methodology.
• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods and tools
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Related experience in system development and involved in full cycles on software testing

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
