One Belian Seed PLT Hiring! Full Time Quantity Surveyor (QS) in Selangor - Ricebowl

Duties and Responsibilities:

To assist Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) in conducting pricing/forecasting/estimates on the

cost of the different components needed for a project or bill of quantities (BOQ).

To assist SQS in preparing BOQ by studying specification sheets from the tender/contract team.

To understand the customer requirements and quantities take off as per marking and

construction drawings.

To liaise with the customer and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project

managers and site engineers.

To participate in the pre-tendering activities with customer, architect and project managers

and raising relevant pre-bid queries from the given tender.

To prepare the initial quote and contract for the tender/contract team.

To assist SQS in coordinating with the design team for analysing architectural and construction

drawings.

To assist SQS in preparing interim and final valuations, variations and claims of the construction

site.

To assist SQS in monitoring and controling costs throughout the project, identifying cost-saving

opportunities.

To track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections in

line with these.

To assist SQS in negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and

terms.

To select and/or source construction materials.

To assist SQS in sourcing for contractors and/or subcontractors to work on the construction

stage of the project.

To assist SQS in preparing contracts, legal tender documents, invoices, and other

documentation.

To maintain accurate records and documentation of all project-related costs and financial

transactions.

To assist SQS in managing project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring costs.

To assist SQS in providing advice on procurement, risk management and cost-saving measures.

To measure and value the work done on project site.

To assist SQS in dealing with financial and legal problems related to the project.

To evaluate claims for subcontractors work.

To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the

Quality System.

To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so set by CM or MD.
