1.0 Job Responsibilities

• Conduct routine environmental inspections of production areas, utilities, warehouses, and waste storage areas.
• Monitor environmental control systems, including stack emission, scheduled waste storage, and drainage systems.
• Perform routine environmental monitoring and sampling as required by applicable regulations and company procedures.
• Inspect and maintain environmental monitoring equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor the segregation, labeling, storage, and disposal of scheduled wastes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain environmental records, logs, inspection reports, monitoring data, and regulatory documentation.
• Assist in preparing environmental reports for submission to management and regulatory authorities where required.
• Support environmental audits, inspections, and compliance assessments conducted by internal teams or government authorities.
• Investigate environmental incidents, spills, leaks, or pollution events and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor chemical storage areas to ensure compliance with environmental and safety requirements.
• Assist in implementing pollution prevention, waste reduction, recycling, and resource conservation programmed.
• Participate in environmental awareness training and employee education programmed.
• Report environmental non-compliance and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform other environmental duties assigned by the Safety and Health Officer (SHO) or EHS Manager.

2.0 Job Requirements

• Diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Safety and Health.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental compliance, manufacturing or EHS operations.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
• Malaysian environmental legislation and DOE requirements.
• Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM).
• Environmental monitoring and reporting.
• ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
• Chemical handling and environmental risk control.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
