Linda Wang Su & Boo Hiring! Full Time Patent Executive in Federal Territory, Earn up to MYR 3,500 - Ricebowl

We are seeking a Patent Executive to join our intellectual property team on a full-time basis. Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Preparing and filing patent & industrial design applications with relevant patent offices, including the Malaysian Patent Office and international offices.
• Liaising with patent examiners and foreign associates to respond to office actions and facilitate smooth prosecution processes, where required.
• Conducting preliminary patentability searches and prior art analysis to support client counselling and application strategy, where required.
• Providing administrative support in matters relating to patent maintenance, renewals and portfolio management.
• Communicating with clients regarding application status, timelines, costs and procedural requirements.

Our requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or other related fields.
• 1-2 years working experience in patent prosecution and patent drafting.
• Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst being a collaborative team member.
• Professional conduct and client-service orientation.
• Possesses good computer skills in MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Power Point.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
