Responsibilities

Talent & Recruitment

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for salon and wellness roles, from job ads to interview scheduling.
• Screen candidates and run initial phone or video interviews to shortlist suitable hires.
• Coordinate trial shifts and gather feedback from centre managers to inform hiring decisions.
• Maintain candidate records and update hiring trackers weekly for hiring visibility.

HR Operations

• Process monthly payroll inputs and assist with attendance, claims, and statutory contributions.
• Maintain HRIS or attendance spreadsheets and ensure records are accurate and auditable.
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and handle basic onboarding paperwork for new hires.
• Support compliance with Malaysian labour regulations and company policies by keeping documentation current.

People & Culture

• Run onboarding sessions to help new team members settle into their roles and our service standards.
• Support performance review logistics and collect manager feedback for appraisal cycles.
• Handle routine employee relations queries and escalate more complex issues to senior HR when needed.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
• About 2 years of hands-on HR experience, ideally with retail, salon, or service operations exposure.
• Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, and basic payroll tasks.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Practical use of HRIS or attendance systems and strong MS Excel skills for trackers and reports.
• Familiarity with Malaysian employment legislation, SOCSO and EPF procedures.
• Experience preparing offer letters, contracts, payroll inputs and managing filing systems.
• Basic reporting skills to produce headcount, turnover, and recruitment status updates.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Clear communicator who can build rapport with frontline teams and managers.
• Organised and reliable, with attention to confidentiality and accurate record keeping.
• Proactive problem solver who helps remove small barriers so teams can focus on service.
• Team player comfortable working across outlets and supporting ad hoc HR needs.

Build scalable HR routines and programs that let our teams focus on service. You will design recruitment flows, tighten onboarding, and put in place clear HR operations that make day-to-day work smoother as we grow our presence across outlets.
