Responsibilities
Salary Range: MYR 4,000.00 - MYR7,000.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in cybersecurity.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, events, partnerships and referrals.
- Meet clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and business challenges.
- Promote cybersecurity services such as SOC/MSS, penetration testing, GRC, vulnerability assessment, security consulting and managed security services.
- Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial presentations with the Presales/Technical team.
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct presentations and negotiate commercial terms.
- Work closely with Presales, SOC, GRC and Project/Service Delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions meet client requirements.
- Monitor competitors and cybersecurity market trends.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales/revenue targets.
Preferred Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
- 3–5 years of business development/sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity or IT services.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity solutions and services.
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience handling B2B clients, tenders and proposals.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Existing network within government, banking, telecommunications, GLC or enterprise sectors is an advantage.
