Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a data driven automotive environment.

The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable data solutions across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, developing Power BI reporting solutions, and supporting data engineering, automation, and analytics requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain data engineering solutions using Microsoft Azure.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Python, Spark and SQL.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for business and operational reporting.
  • Work with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure Data Factory.
  • Manage Databricks workflows and orchestration pipelines.
  • Support data architecture and integration requirements.
  • Work with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory and Azure Key Vault.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Work with GitHub and Azure Repos, including branching and pull-request processes.
  • Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams using JIRA.
  • Support API consumption and integration.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and platform issues.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, security, scalability and performance across implemented solutions.


Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Azure Databricks and Data Architecture.
  • Minimum 7 years of Power BI experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of Azure Databricks experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Data Architecture experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL and Spark.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, ADLS and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Pipeline or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with GitHub and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
