Data Insight Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a curious, business-minded and insight-driven Data Insight Analyst to transform complex corporate data into actionable business insights. In this role, you will proactively explore business data to uncover trends, risks, opportunities and hidden patterns, while working closely with regional stakeholders and IT teams across APAC to develop dashboards, define KPIs, improve reporting quality, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business, operational, and regional data to identify trends, risks, gaps, opportunities, and performance drivers
• Proactively explore corporate data to uncover previously unidentified patterns, relationships, anomalies, risks, and business opportunities
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI reports, and executive-level management dashboards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business challenges into analytical solutions
• Define, validate, and monitor KPIs to ensure reliable, accurate, and meaningful performance measurement
• Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis including forecasting, segmentation, statistical analysis, and practical predictive modelling to support business planning and decision-making
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and business insight summaries for regional stakeholders and leadership teams
• Partner with business and IT teams to improve data quality, reporting processes, governance standards, and self-service analytics capabilities
• Promote a data-driven culture and best practices across APAC business functions

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, performance analysis, or a related analytical role
• Hands-on experience in developing analytical reports, dashboards, and business insights using Power BI
• Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, data modelling, dashboard design, publishing, and refresh management
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, validation, troubleshooting, aggregation, and performance optimisation
• Good understanding of KPI design, reporting governance, data validation, dashboard usability, and performance measurement frameworks
• Knowledge of relational databases, enterprise data platforms, and data warehousing concepts such as SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, star schema, and data marts
• Experience in data cleansing, transformation, quality assurance, and structured business data management
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and business curiosity
• Excellent presentation and data storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
