Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, cash flow) for two entities.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable standards.
• Handle tax-related matters, including SST, corporate tax, PCB, , and ensure all statutory submissions are completed on time.
• Maintain proper accounting records, schedules, and documentation to support audits and tax filings.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary to ensure smooth year-end closing and compliance.
• Prepare management reports and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
• Assist in improving accounting processes, internal controls, and financial systems for greater efficiency.
• Manage CEO’s personal tax matters, including tax filing, liaising with tax agents, and ensuring compliance with LHDN regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA are an added advantage).
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience handling full set of accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian taxation (corporate tax, SST, and personal income tax).
• Experience handling accounts for multiple entities is preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, or equivalent) and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Mandarin speaker required as the role involves regular communication with counterparts in China.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with external and internal stakeholders.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality, especially in handling personal tax matters of management.
