Key Responsibilities:

• Plan routes and delivery schedules to meet project timelines
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance (e.g., fuel, oil, tire pressure)
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and reports
• Assist site teams with basic labor tasks when required
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and company policies
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and logistics coordinators

Requirements:

• Possess a valid Malaysia Driving Licence (Class D). GDL licence is an advantage if required for the assigned vehicle.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience as a driver, preferably in the construction industry or project environment.
• Familiar with routes to JKR offices, government agencies, suppliers and construction sites.
• Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends or public holidays when required by project operations.
• Responsible, punctual, trustworthy and physically fit.
• Good communication skills and able to follow instructions from project management.
• Must have a clean driving record and demonstrate safe driving practices.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions
• May require long hours, weekends, or overtime depending on project needs
• Travelling to JKR HQ for meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with a JKR project, government construction project, consultant, contractor or construction site would be an added advantage.
• Defensive driving certification (if applicable)
• Preferably candidates from Pulau Pinang
