Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CNC Programmer / Machinist role based in Kedah, Malaysia. The role involves programming CNC machines, setting up and operating multi-axis machining centers and lathes, and producing precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, selecting appropriate tools and fixtures, performing test runs, and optimizing machining parameters for efficiency and quality. The CNC Programmer / Machinist will monitor production, inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy, and carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. The role also requires close collaboration with engineers and production teams to improve processes, maintain safety standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret and apply Technical Drawing skills to read engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
  • Proficiency in CNC Programming and related Programming skills for multi-axis machining centers and lathes.
  • Hands-on experience in Machining operations, including Milling, turning, and working with various materials.
  • Knowledge of precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and quality inspection practices.
  • Understanding of machining safety standards, machine maintenance basics, and shop-floor best practices.
  • Relevant technical qualification or certification in machining, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in CNC machining within industrial, automotive, or equipment manufacturing environments is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production setting.
