Responsibilities
The Investment Executive will support the company’s strategic financing, fundraising, and banking management activities for the development and expansion of multi-phase data centre projects.
Fundraising & Capital Strategy:
Assist in the end-to-end execution of debt and equity fundraising initiatives for current DC 1 and future data centre expansion phases (DC2 to DC5+).
Support the development of comprehensive financial models, pitch books, and investment memorandums for prospective lenders and investors.
Cultivate, manage, and maintain active relationships with institutional banks, financial partners, and external advisors.
Act as a supporting liaison during financial due diligence processes, term sheet negotiations, and facility structuring.
Financial Structuring & Planning:
Evaluate and structuring optimal short-term and long-term funding plans to meet aggressive capital expenditure requirements.
Monitor debt capacity, covenant compliance, and overall capital structure health across the portfolio.
Corporate Finance & Listing Readiness:
Support strategic initiatives designed to prepare the entity for future listing strategies (e.g., IPOs or alternative listing routes).
Collaborate with internal teams and external financial consultants to align corporate positioning and storylines with capital market requirements.
Market Analysis:
Conduct industry research and peer analysis within the data centre and digital infrastructure sectors to strengthen investment narratives.
Track capital market trends, interest rate movements, and alternative financing instruments.
Reporting & Administrations:
Prepare update reports, dashboards, and presentations regarding fundraising progress and capital deployment.
Maintain organized and secure documentation of all financial agreements, term sheets, and investor correspondence.
Ensure timely submission of required reports and information to lenders, investors, auditors, and regulatory stakeholders.
Loan Facility Management & Banking Coordination:
Support the administration and management of existing project financing facilities, including DC1 financing facilities and future financing arrangements.
Prepare and coordinate all financing-related documentation required for loan drawdowns, disbursements, utilization requests, and compliance submissions.
Monitor financing agreements, conditions precedent (CP), loan covenants, and reporting obligations to ensure continuous compliance with facility requirements.
Liaise closely with banks, financial institutions, lawyers, consultants, and internal stakeholders on financing-related matters, clarification requests, and information submissions.
Maintain proper tracking and documentation of financing facilities, repayment schedules, security documentation, and covenant reporting timelines.
Assist in monitoring project cash flow utilization and financing availability to support operational and project requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or any related field.
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or corporate treasury. Exposure to infrastructure, real estate, or data centre asset classes is preferred.
Strong understanding of debt and equity capital markets, corporate structuring, and financial instruments. Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives and presentations.
