Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to supervise daily site activities, coordinate workers and resources, and ensure construction works are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities and site workers to ensure timely progress and compliance with project plans
- Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to optimize resource utilization on site
- Monitor work progress against project schedules and approved drawings to maintain project timelines
- Ensure construction works meet required quality standards, specifications, and workmanship criteria
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to align site operations
- Conduct site inspections to identify defects or incomplete works and arrange timely rectification
- Monitor workers’ attendance, productivity, and performance to maintain workforce efficiency
- Maintain accurate daily site records, manpower reports, and progress documentation for project tracking
- Attend site meetings and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders as required
- Enforce proper housekeeping and organization of the worksite to maintain safety and efficiency
- Implement Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and safe work procedures consistently
- Ensure workers use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all site safety regulations
- Report hazards, accidents, unsafe conditions, and site issues promptly to management
- Perform other construction and site supervision duties assigned by management to support project success
Required competencies and certifications
- Relevant experience in construction site supervision of 3 years
- Good knowledge of construction-site operations
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to supervise workers and coordinate daily site activities effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Relevant construction or safety certifications considered an advantage
- Willingness to work at different project sites as required
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays as project schedules demand
