Assistant Manager – Financial Accounting & Reporting

Experience: 5+ years | Location: Malaysia

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end closing.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and group consolidated reports.
• Handle intercompany reconciliation, consolidation adjustments, and eliminations.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and maintain compliance.
• Oversee tax matters including CIT, SST, withholding tax, and transfer pricing.
• Prepare Axiata/group reporting templates and ensure timely submissions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting, reporting, or audit experience.
• ACCA/CIMA/CA(M) preferred.
• Strong MFRS/IFRS, taxation, ERP, consolidation, and advanced Excel knowledge.
• Shared services/MNC experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
