UST Hiring! Full Time Senior Product Development Engineer (ATE MBIST) in - Ricebowl

We are seeking a highly motivated ATE MBIST Engineer to drive Memory BIST (MBIST) test development, validation, characterization, and production deployment for advanced semiconductor products. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ATE test development, memory testing methodologies, DFT/MBIST architecture, silicon bring-up, yield improvement, and production test optimization.

This role requires close collaboration with Design, DFT, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure robust MBIST test coverage, efficient debug, and high-volume manufacturing readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain ATE MBIST test solutions for semiconductor products.
• Create and debug memory test patterns, diagnostic algorithms, and memory repair validation flows.
• Support MBIST silicon bring-up from pre-silicon verification through post-silicon validation and production release.
• Perform ATE characterization, yield analysis, failure analysis, and root-cause investigation of memory-related issues.
• Optimize test coverage, test quality, and test time while ensuring manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop and enhance ATE test methods/classes on Advantest V93000 SMT7/SMT8 platforms.
• Analyze characterization and production data to identify trends, improve yields, and enhance test robustness.
• Collaborate with Design, DFT, Product Engineering, Reliability, and Manufacturing teams to resolve complex silicon and test challenges.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp activities.
• Drive continuous improvements in test methodologies, automation frameworks, and debug efficiency.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor industry, with significant hands-on experience in ATE Memory BIST (MBIST) testing and validation.
• Experience must include technical and specialized knowledge in the areas below:
• Strong understanding of ATE test methodologies and silicon test development practices.
• Experience in Memory Testing (ATE MBIST) test pattern development, and debug experience (memory repair, diagnostic, algorithm pattern validation).
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard MBIST and DFT tools for ATE MBIST testing, such as Siemens Tessent, Synopsys, or Mentor MBIST solutions.
• Strong experience in MBIST silicon bring up from pre-silicon to ATE post-silicon validation, including test-development, test debug, yield improvement, ATE characterization, and test-time reduction.
• Strong ATE & test class/method development experience with Advantest 93k SMT7 and SMT8
• Proficiency in data-driven analysis, including characterization data and repair analysis.
• Strong Python/Ruby/Java/Perl/C++ coding skills
• Proactive with ability to work independently in fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated technical ownership and drive to close complex debug issues.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Design, ATE and manufacturing teams.
