Job Description

Responsibilities

Company Description The National AI Educators Fellowship (NAiEF) is Malaysia’s first classroom-focused initiative and evidence engine for AI-enabled teaching. NAiEF offers a structured, five-tier professional pathway that supports educators from foundational AI use to leadership in AI-enabled education at school, district, and national levels. The fellowship emphasizes measurable impact through enhanced teacher productivity, improved student STEM readiness, and equitable AI deployment across schools. Progression is evidence-based, requiring tangible classroom implementation of AI tools, such as in lesson planning and assessment, before certification is granted. NAiEF is built with globally recognized partners like Microsoft Learn and Cisco AI Academy, and aligns to international frameworks including UNESCO ICT and AI Competency Frameworks, OECD PISA priorities, and ISTE Standards for Educators.
Role Description The Management Trainee Intern will support the operational and strategic activities of NAiEF, contributing to program coordination, educator engagement, and data-informed decision-making. This full-time hybrid role is based in Semenyih, with a mix of on-site work for team collaboration, events, and stakeholder meetings, and some work-from-home flexibility for focused tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting with project planning and tracking, supporting fellowship onboarding and communication, preparing reports and presentations, and helping to organize workshops or training sessions. The intern will also help maintain documentation, coordinate with partners and educators, and contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and impact of the fellowship.
Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, including task tracking, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with educators, partners, and internal teams.
  • Basic proficiency with digital tools such as office productivity software, online collaboration platforms, and learning management systems.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting data, preparing simple reports, and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also taking initiative and managing individual responsibilities.
  • Interest in education, AI, or digital learning, with a willingness to learn about AI-enabled teaching and global competency frameworks.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in education, management, business, data science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Comfort working in a hybrid arrangement based in Semenyih, with flexibility to attend in-person meetings, events, and training sessions as needed.
