AMK Technology Hiring! Full Time Senior Developer – LIMS in Selangor - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Senior Developer – LIMS to support the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and related laboratory IT solutions.

This role will act as a key technical expert, bridging laboratory operations, business processes, digitalization initiatives, and software development to deliver efficient, compliant, and future-ready laboratory workflows.

The successful candidate will contribute to the digital transformation of analytical laboratories through reliable system architecture, laboratory instrument integration, business application connectivity, and data-driven laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

LIMS Administration & Development

• Configure, develop, maintain, and support LIMS applications.
• Manage system releases, upgrades, testing, and issue resolution.
• Monitor and ensure system performance, stability, and availability.

Business Process Digitalization

• Translate business and laboratory requirements into effective digital solutions.
• Automate and optimize laboratory workflows and processes.
• Support laboratory digital transformation initiatives.

System Integration & Architecture

• Maintain and enhance LIMS architecture and system interfaces.
• Integrate LIMS with ERP, MES, laboratory instruments, and other business applications.
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and seamless information flow across systems.
• Support API and system integration development.

Project Delivery

• Support LIMS implementation, enhancement, and integration projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams, laboratory users, vendors, and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to project planning, execution, testing, and successful delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Experience

• Proven experience in LIMS, software development, system integration, or laboratory informatics.
• Hands-on experience with LabVantage and/or LabWare.
• Experience working with laboratory processes and digitalization initiatives.
• Experience in LIMS implementation, configuration, customization, or support is highly preferred.
