The Interior Design Intern will assist the design team in developing creative and functional interior design by supporting project planning, space design, material selection, and site coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials.
• Produce 2D drawings, layouts, and technical documentation using design software.
• Develop 3D visualizations and renderings for presentations.
• Support the selection of furniture, fixtures, finishes, colors, and materials.
• Conduct site visits, measurements, and documentation of project progress.
• Assist in preparing project specifications and design proposals.
• Research current interior design trends, materials, and market innovations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Internship period: 6 Months and above.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, or similar design software.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva is an advantage.
• Strong creativity and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of space planning and design principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Portfolio showcasing academic or personal design projects.
• Basic knowledge of construction detailing and materials.
• Experience with rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray is an added advantage.

Pay: RM1,700.00 per month
