Client Description

Company Description: A premier telecommunications service provider and leading ICT enterprise in Hong Kong, specializing in enterprise networking, cloud solutions, and digital infrastructure services.
Location: Tseung Kwan O
Nature: Renewable Contract (6 months)


Job Description
  • Execute network deployments, including the installation and configuration of firewalls and switches, strictly following approved implementation plans.
  • Manage the migration of the current environment to the new data center facility while minimizing service disruption.
  • Perform Layer 2 and Layer 3 network configurations, encompassing routing protocols, VLAN setups, and firewall policy implementations.
  • Apply firmware updates and software bug fixes in full compliance with corporate security standards.
  • Conduct system integration activities and perform acceptance testing to validate network performance and security readiness.
  • Maintain complete operational records, including implementation reports, change logs, test outcomes, and weekly progress updates.
  • Provide on-site technical assistance during production rollouts, post-implementation stabilization, and weekend or off-hour support when required.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors while adhering to strict IT governance and security protocols.

Job Requirements
  • Hold a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network deployment, troubleshooting, and operational support, ideally within the banking or financial sectors.
  • Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing and switching, SDN, multicast, Wi-Fi, DDI, and network security technologies.
  • Hold professional network certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, HCIE, or vendor-specific security credentials.
  • Display familiarity with network management systems, network automation scripting, and risk management or audit processes.
  • Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese, with proficiency in Mandarin considered a distinct advantage.
  • Flexible to work weekends and provide 24/7 on-call standby support based on project requirements.
