Job Summary
You will coordinate import shipments, manage shipping documentation, and communicate with teams and customers to ensure timely cargo delivery and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
Book and coordinate import shipments to meet customer and regulatory requirements
Prepare and handle shipping documentation and customs import permits accurately
Liaise with operations teams, customers, and transporters to ensure timely cargo collection and delivery
Communicate shipment status updates clearly to customers
Enter and maintain accurate import shipment data in the system
Scan, file, and organize shipment documents systematically
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries professionally
Support ad-hoc administrative and logistics tasks as assigned
Preferred competencies and qualifications
GCE ‘O’ Level / ITE or equivalent educational qualification
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Demonstrate initiative and results-oriented work approach
Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Exhibit meticulousness and ability to work independently
