The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations, governance, reporting, and compliance of the Group’s businesses.
The role ensures financial integrity, statutory compliance, cash flow sustainability, and strategic financial planning to support the Group’s expansion and operational stability.
The Finance Manager will supervise accounting teams and work closely with management, auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full set of accounts for all group entities.
- Ensure accurate quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Prepare:
- Profit & Loss Statements
- Balance Sheets
- Cash Flow Statements
- Management financial dashboards.
- Consolidate financial results across multiple entities.
- Present financial reports to Managing Director and leadership team.
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget vs actual performance.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
- Support management in investment planning and business expansion decisions
- Establish strong internal financial control systems.
- Financial leakages
- Fraud
- Accounting irregularities.
- Conduct periodic financial audits and internal checks.
- Liase with External auditors, Tax consultants, Company secretaries, Annual audits, Tax filings, Statutory reporting.
- Improve financial processes and automation.
- Implement or optimize accounting software.
- Support integration of financial processes with digital platforms
- Supervise accounting and finance staff.
- Provide guidance and training to finance personnel.
- Ensure finance department operates with high accuracy, discipline, and transparency.
- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting / Commerce.
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years experience in finance or accounting.
- Experience handling full set of accounts and multi-entity companies, Consolidated accounts, Investment holding company accounts
- Professional qualification preferred:
- ACCA
- CPA
- ICAEW
- CIMA.
