1. Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, and specialty beverages according to café standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and beverage quality.
• Handle custom orders and special dietary requests accurately.

2. Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take orders efficiently and ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Address customer inquiries or complaints professionally.

3. Cashiering

• Operate POS system for order-taking and payments.
• Handle cash, e-wallet, and card transactions accurately.
• Maintain proper cash handling and end-of-shift balancing.

4. Store Operations

• Maintain a clean and organised workstation, including coffee machines, counters, and service areas.
• Assist in opening and closing duties according to SOP.
• Keep track of stock levels for coffee beans, milk, syrup, and other supplies.

5. Equipment Care

• Clean, calibrate, and maintain coffee machines and grinders.
• Report equipment issues promptly to the supervisor.

6. Quality & Safety Compliance

• Adhere to food hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Follow company SOPs related to beverage preparation, cleanliness, and service.

7. Teamwork

• Support fellow café team members when required.
• Assist during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.

8 . Hygiene & Safety

• Ensure all hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices comply with company and regulatory standards.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure food is handled, stored, and prepared safely.
• Ensure staff follow proper handwashing, glove usage, and cleanliness protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, utensils, and surfaces to prevent contamination.
• Adhere to safety guidelines related to hot equipment, sharp tools, and chemical usage.
