Operator - Pump House

PALMAJU Edible Oil Sdn. Bhd.

• Operate and monitor pumps, valves, pipelines and related pump house equipment.
• Ensure proper flow and transfer of water, oil and other plant utilities according to operational requirements.
• Conduct routine checks on pumps, motors, pressure gauges, valves and related equipment.
• Monitor equipment operating conditions and report abnormalities, leaks, unusual noise or vibration to the superior.
• Perform basic cleaning, housekeeping and routine maintenance activities at the pump house area.
• Record equipment readings and operational parameters accurately in the relevant logbooks/checklists.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), safety requirements and work instructions.
• Assist Engineering/Maintenance personnel during equipment inspection, servicing and repair activities.
• Ensure the pump house and surrounding work areas are clean, safe and properly maintained.
• Comply with company safety, GMP and environmental requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM / SKM / Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a Plant Operator, Utility Operator, Pump Operator or in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, valves and piping systems is an advantage.
• Able to read and record equipment readings and operational parameters.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Willing to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Good discipline, responsible and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fresh graduates or candidates without direct experience but with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
