1.0 Job Responsibilities

• Independently manage the end-to-end monthly payroll for a large and growing local and foreign workforce, covering base salary, overtime, allowances, bonuses, deductions, salary adjustments, arrears, etc., ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with HR and other departments to collect, verify, and confirm payroll data is complete, accurate, and properly authorized before the payroll cut-off.
• Ensure payroll calculations and statutory contributions/filings comply with Malaysian employment and tax regulations, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB/MTD, and complete submissions and payments on time.
• Perform payroll reconciliation, pre- and post-payroll verification, and variance analysis; investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies while maintaining internal controls and compliance.
• Maintain employee master data in the HRIS/payroll system, prepare payroll, statutory, and management reports, and support audits, EA Forms, and annual PCB/MTD reconciliation.
• Handle employee payroll inquiries and continuously improve payroll processes, system automation, and service quality.

2.0 Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with 5–8 years of payroll experience; experience in large-scale payroll in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Employment Act 1955, minimum wage requirements, and Malaysian statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB/MTD, and LHDN.
• Experience in payroll for both local and foreign employees, covering salary, overtime, allowances, deductions, bonuses, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Proficient in HRIS/payroll systems and Excel; strong data processing, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, manage strict deadlines, and handle confidential information with strong integrity and responsibility.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
