Job Description

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and assigned facilities meet cleanliness and service standards.
• Plan staff deployment, prepare duty rosters and monitor attendance to ensure sufficient manpower and timely completion of work.
• Conduct regular inspections, address cleaning deficiencies and follow up on maintenance issues.
• Train and guide housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safe equipment use and workplace safety.
• Monitor cleaning supplies, linen and equipment, ensuring proper usage and stock control.
• Handle housekeeping requests and feedback professionally, liaise with clients and management, and submit daily operational reports.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role within a hotel or similar environment.
• Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards and the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Responsible, hands-on and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and resolve operational issues.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
