Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Tableau Server environments across Dev QA and Production
- Support Tableau Server upgrade planning execution validation and post upgrade support
- Manage users groups permissions licenses extracts schedules and published data sources
- Perform troubleshooting and resolution of Tableau Server issues across QA and Production
- Execute and update existing regression and upgrade test cases
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams for RHELOS and middleware upgrades
- Support CICD and deployment activities using tools such as GitHub Enterprise Jenkins and Ansible
- Perform scripting process automation using Python Tableau REST APIs TSC or related tools
- Validate dependent ControlM jobs during post Tableau upgrades
- Support BAU Tableau administration monitoring and production activities after the upgrade
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands on Tableau Server administration experience
- Experience performing Tableau Server upgrades in production environments
- Good understanding of Tableau Server architecture TSM services logs backup restore and troubleshooting
- Experience working with Tableau Server on Linux RHEL
- Knowledge of Tableau Desktop Server compatibility and enterprise deployment processes
Preferred Skills
- Python scripting automation
- Tableau REST API TSC tabcmd
- Jenkins GitGitHub Enterprise and Ansible
- CICD and release management experience
- Exposure to ControlM or enterprise batch scheduling tools
