1. Job Purpose

The Production Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules aligned with sales forecasts, machine capacity and material availability, ensuring timely and efficient fulfilment of production and customer orders.

2. Key Accountabilities

- Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts, orders and capacity.

- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials.

- Monitor production progress against plan and adjust schedules to address delays or unforeseen issues.

- Liaise with production, QA and sales teams to align on priorities and delivery timelines.

- Maintain accurate planning records and prepare production planning reports for management.

- Support continuous improvement in planning accuracy and efficiency.

3. Job Requirements/ Qualifications

Educational Background

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.

Working Experience

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in production or material planning within a manufacturing environment.

Required language(s)

Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written)

Required Knowledge

Production planning and scheduling, materials requirement planning (MRP), manufacturing processes.

Required skill (s)

Strong organisational and analytical skills; proficient in MS Excel and ERP/production planning systems.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
