Job Description
Perform laboratory testing on samples, including Base, Sediment and Water (BSW), ash content, water by distillation, flash point, sediment by extraction, density and viscosity.
Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PR) for third-party testing services and laboratory consumables.
Maintain and update inventory records in the D365 system.
Support the Chemist in ad hoc and routine testing activities.
Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Issue Certificates of Analysis (COA) for final products in a timely and accurate manner.
Liaise with vendors for laboratory equipment and consumables.
Record and manage test results in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods.
Support the review and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Prepare internal training materials and support training activities.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Chemistry or an equivalent qualification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsible, proactive, and goal-oriented, with strong teamwork and communication skills.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in a related field.
