Person & Skillset Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is desired.

• 4+ Years of application architecture and support methodologies experience in banking.

• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).

• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting (e.g., Shell, Python).

• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).

• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Knowledge of Java/.NET applications and middleware technologies.

• Understanding of API integrations and web services.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.

The key responsibilities of this role, among others are :-

• Monitor, maintain, and support enterprise applications to ensure high availability and performance.

• Investigate and resolve application-related incidents, problems, and service requests within agreed SLAs.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurring issues.

• Collaborate with development teams for bug fixes, enhancements, and deployment activities.

• Manage application configurations, patches, and upgrades in production and non-production environments.

• Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing.

• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards during application maintenance.

• Provide on-call support and participate in incident management during critical outages.
