GSH Precision Technology Hiring! Full Time Safety Officer in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 5,000 - Ricebowl

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Identify hazards related to machinery, metal cutting, grinding, welding, CNC operations, chemicals, lifting equipment, and material handling.
• Ensure employees comply with company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
• Monitor the safe operation of machinery, equipment, and production activities.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox meetings for new and existing employees.
• Organize and deliver safety training, including emergency response, PPE, fire safety, and machine safety.
• Ensure proper maintenance and availability of safety equipment, fire extinguishers, first-aid supplies, and emergency facilities.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training records, permits, and other relevant documentation.
• Assist with emergency drills and ensure employees understand emergency procedures.
• Liaise with management, supervisors, contractors, and relevant authorities on safety matters.
• Monitor compliance with applicable Malaysian occupational safety and health legislation and company requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce workplace accidents and unsafe practices.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant Safety and Health Officer certification/registration where required.
• Experience in metal fabrication, precision engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments is preferred.
• Great knowledge of workplace safety practices, risk assessment, PPE, machinery safety, and emergency procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to conduct inspections, investigations, training, and safety briefings.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with production team

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
